It is helpful if the donor confirms the donation, and its purpose, so the Foundation office can document his/her intention in our records. This can be done via e-mail to the Foundation staff member you are working with or to Foundation@iredellhealth.org.

For year-end giving, it is important to note that unlike other gifts, if an IRA account check is used, the date of gift is NOT established by the postmark of when check is mailed or received by the charity, but rather when the IRA administrator transfers funds AFTER the charity deposits the check.
